Welcome to ADIB Ghina terms and conditions

1. This Promotion is for the period from 15 Dec 2009 till 15 Jan 2010.
2. Promotion is offered to new customers to the Bank only (no accounts or finance, cards relationship).
3. Min opening balance to qualify for this promotion is AED 10,000.
4. A welcome bonus of AED 500 will be rewarded to the first 500 customers who participate in this promotion (AED 200 thereafter).
5. This promotion is only offered on Emarati Dirham Ghina account.
6. Welcome bonus will be credited to the customer Ghina account within a period of 3 working days.
7. In the event of any suspicious transactions on the account, ADIB reserves the right to hold the cash back facility without prior notice to the customer.
8. Welcome bonus and the cash back facility are at the discretion of ADIB and from it’s shareholders’ profit.
9. Ghina terms and conditions and banking service agreement to apply .
10. 0.5% cash back is offered on all retail purchases thru ADIB electron card that is linked to Ghina saving account with the exception of Cash advances
11. Total accumulated Cash back amounts to be credited into customer Ghina account on the first working day of every month.
12. Eligible customer in this promotion will enjoy a cash back facility till the end of Dec 2010.
13. In the event of account closure before receiving the reward, ADIB has the right to forfeit.
14. Closing account charges to apply.
15. Min balance of AED 20,000 is needed to be included in Ghina draws.

Terms and Conditions applicable to ADIB GHINA Account;

1. ADIB Ghina: is a demand deposit investment account based on MUDARABA where the customer may reaps profits (which is the main object of this account) or bears losses (if the losses are not due to ADIB’s negligence or misconduct).
2. ADIB Ghina minimum opening balance: AED 20,000/- or equivalent to it. (any below reference to AED 20,000/- will include any equivalent amount to it).
3. ADIB Ghina customers: Personal customers only.
4. ADIB Ghina saving account terms and conditions: as normal terms & conditions applied on ADIB saving account.(as per Banking Services Agreement)
5. ADIB Ghina semi annual services fes: Saving account services (semi annual) fees are waived where and when applicable.
6. ADIB Ghina tariff: Premier Saving account Tariff shall apply
7. ADIB Ghina currencies: Any currency already approved for ADIB saving accounts.
8. Every customer has the right to open one ADIB Ghina account only.
9. ADIB Ghina SMS: Dynamic personalized SMS will be sent to customer once opening Ghina account and by the first week of every month.
10. The account may be opened for Minors thru their guardians.

1. ADIB Ghina welcome raffle entry: is a one entry given immediately to the customer upon opening ADIB Ghina with min balance of AED 2 0,000/-.
2. ADIB Ghina raffle entry: for every AED 2 0,000/- that completed one full month (1st to 1st) in ADIB Ghina a customer is granted for one raffle entry.
3. If the customer deposits money after the first day of the month, customer will be granted the entries on the first day of the second following month.
4. ADIB Ghina entry cancellation: At any time if the customer’s balance went below AED 20,000/- he will lose all the collected entry(s) + the welcome raffle entry and he should start collecting from the beginning.
5. ADIB Ghina maximum raffle entry number: Total 100 entries per customer in both the grand and bi-weekly raffles.

Terms and conditions for ADIB Ghina raffle

1. ADIB Ghina BIG raffle: To take place after completing 4 months of the promotion period. The prize is AED 2,000,000/-.
2. ADIB Ghina SMALL raffle: Bi-weekly raffle during the promotion period where 10 winners will win AED 10,000/- each.
3. ADIB Ghina raffle dates: Second & fourth Thursday of every month. (if the Bank didn’t open for business on the raffle targeted date, then the raffle will take place on the next bank working day.
4. ADIB Ghina raffle entrance cut off time: Close of business on every Tuesday that comes before the targeted raffle date.
5. Entries collected during the period before the big raffle will be entered into the big raffle. Customer is eligible to enter the big raffle if he/she collected 4 entries or more.
6. After the final raffle is conducted, all the collected entries that entered the final raffle will expire except for the welcome entry which will entitle to enter the next big raffle.
7. Customers who couldn’t enter the big raffle due to the insufficient number of draw entries collected can still continue collecting to get into the next big raffle.
8. Raffle to be conducted with the presence of a representative from the ministry of Economic.
9. For ADIB Ghina prizes: Prizes are at the discretion of ADIB and from its shareholders’ profit specifically.
